About the role

As a Security Officer Medical Facility Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including hallways, lobbies, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to support authorized entry procedures and reporting unusual behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Aid staff, patients, and visitors with directions and general information while maintaining awareness of security-related conditions across the location.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
