Security Officer (Mall) Philadelphia Mills

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol Operations in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and retail patrons by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Monitor access to designated areas and assist with directing visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel in accordance with property procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity through accurate reports and promptly communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
