Security Officer Patrol - Mall

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol - Mall in Abilene, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, storefront corridors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential hazards to help to deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity within the location.
• Assist with access control, crowd monitoring, and customer assistance during busy periods, special events, and/or opening and closing activities.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
