About the role
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a retail and mall location, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and provide exceptional customer service while demonstrating agility, reliability, teamwork, innovation, and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting policy violations, hazards, or suspicious conditions to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and other security-related observations.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$18.00 / Hour

- Tuesday: 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM
- Wednesday: 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM
- Thursday: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
- Friday: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
