Security Officer Incident Response

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic logistics and distribution waterfront location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution waterfront location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of docks, terminals, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, damaged property, access-control issues, and potential hazards to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with site requirements.

Requirements

• Have 3+ years of experience as a Military Police Officer, Corrections Officer, Armed Security Professional, or be a Certified Law Enforcement Graduate.
• Possess a CPO certification.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
