As a Security Officer Incident Response in Santa Fe, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a retail and convenience location.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor activity at a retail and convenience store location, observe for unusual conditions, and report incidents, hazards, or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the store, fuel areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and a baton is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
