Security Officer Full Time Package Screening

As a Security Officer Full Time Package Screening in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. You will help maintain a secure environment by screening individuals and materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or personal property in accordance with established access-control and screening procedures at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document visitor or delivery activity as required by site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Pay Rate: $16.82 / Hour
