Security Officer Full Time Screening

About the role
As a Security Officer Full Time Screening in Kenner, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. In this fast-paced environment, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening individuals and materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures.
- Monitor access points and review credentials or shipping documentation as directed, reporting unauthorized access attempts or irregularities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, loading areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- At least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Preferred Qualifications
- Access control and badge experience.
- Guard card or license.
- Customer service experience.

$15.24 / hour

- Monday: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
- Tuesday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Friday: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
- Saturday: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
- Sunday: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
