Security Officer Package Screening

About the Role

As a Security Officer Package Screening in Rialto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, packages, and/or materials in accordance with site procedures. You will maintain a professional presence, help identify potential concerns, communicate clearly with team members, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and vehicles entering and leaving the distribution location in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access points and shipping or receiving areas; verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and report unauthorized access concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business interior, loading areas, parking facilities, and perimeter, and document observations and incidents.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
