What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support a welcoming environment.
- Maintain access to the property, verify visitor and contractor entry in accordance with site policies, and report unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Communicate clearly with property management, tenants, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and security-related observations.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess supervisory experience.
- Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
