Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol Driver

About the role

As an unarmed Full Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Decatur, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document entry and exit activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders according to established procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
