About the Role

As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will deliver exceptional customer service, clear communication, and support through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and care for others.

  • Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
  • Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
  • Sun 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and/or associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document and report observations in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe the premises for unusual activity, potential hazards, and/or policy violations; communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly retail environment by providing directions, supporting crowd management needs, and responding to requests for assistance.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
