About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer. This role requires a sharp eye for detail as you monitor a series of screens to spot threats before they escalate at a construction site. Strong observation skills and attention to detail are essential. A valid driver's license is required.

Schedule

• Site location: Pittsburgh, PA
• Two shifts available (Sunday–Thursday):
  • 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
  • 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $17.50/hr. DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Valid driver's license
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus
