About the role
As a Security Officer Full Time Door Access Coordination in Mesquite, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Through a visible presence and attention to site procedures, you will help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor passes as applicable, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
- Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
Requirements
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
