Security Officer Full Time Access Operations

About the role

As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Hatfield, PA, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, greet visitors, and maintain clear communication with site personnel. Your visible presence will help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, documenting visitor entry, and directing authorized personnel, contractors, and deliveries according to site procedures.
• Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns in accordance with established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and access records while communicating professionally with employees, visitors, and site contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
