Security Officer Full Time Access Control

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Unit in Lewiston Woodville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access, and report suspicious behavior, damaged equipment, or other security-related concerns.
• Support site operations by observing loading, shipping, and receiving areas, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and following post orders and incident reporting procedures.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
