About the role
As a Full Time Access Operations Security Officer in Richfield, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will help manage site entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, contractors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points for the logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorization, and maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records.
- Help to deter unauthorized access by observing access-control systems, reporting irregularities, and escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including access issues, delivery-related disputes, and emergency notifications.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access points, loading areas, and the business perimeter, as assigned.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
