Security Officer Full Time Dispatch Communications

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Dispatch Communications in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Dispatch Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor activity, document incidents, and dispatch personnel as needed. You will provide professional customer service while helping to support a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor alarm systems, cameras, radios, and other communications channels; receive and document calls for service; and dispatch appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating notifications to management, emergency services, and/or appropriate contacts as directed.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, key control records, and visitor or contractor activity records in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
• Coordinate routine and urgent patrol requests, monitor the status of responding personnel, and help to deter unauthorized activity through timely communication and observation.

Requirements

• Have at least six months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Pay: $23.98 / Hour

Schedule: Wednesday 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM, Thursday 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM, Saturday 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM, Sunday 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM
