Security Officer Full Time Daytime Patrol

About the Role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed security professional at a financial institution in Durham, NC. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, access control protocols, and site-specific policies.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity at the financial institution, and report unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter theft, trespassing, and other prohibited activity.
• Document patrol findings and incidents through clear, accurate reports, and communicate security-related concerns to designated personnel.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.54 per hour.
