Security Guard Full Time Daytime Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location in Raleigh, NC, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will use computer or tablet tools as needed to document observations and support daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and visitor records in accordance with site procedures.
• Communicate observations and concerns promptly to appropriate personnel, emergency responders, and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

• Saturday: 08:30 AM - 06:30 PM
• Sunday: 08:30 AM - 06:30 PM
