As a Security Guard Full Time Patrol in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking facilities, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access in accordance with site requirements, and report irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
