Security Officer Part Time Daytime Patrol

About the Role

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a pharmaceutical healthcare location in Clayton, NC, where you will conduct routine patrols, support access control, help to deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a pharmaceutical healthcare location
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and report observations
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify that visitors, contractors, and personnel follow site entry procedures
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and security-related observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed

Qualifications

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience
• Possess a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
• Access control and badge experience is preferred
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $21.21 / Hour

Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM (Part Time)
