Security Officer Daytime Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol in Greenville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents, public-service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and maintenance-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor entry procedures, credential checks, and direction of guests in accordance with site policies.
• Complete accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, patrols, and other security-related observations.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

• Thursday: 07:00 AM – 07:30 PM
• Friday: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM
