Security Officer Customer Service Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol in South Bend, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses may be required prior to employment based on state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver's license may be required for driving positions only.
