About the role

As an Access Control Security Officer at a food and beverage production location in DAKOTA CITY, NE, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service to employees and visitors. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally, and support a secure environment while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access and visitor records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, parking areas, perimeter locations, and access points, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Follow sanitation, personal protective equipment, and restricted-area requirements applicable to a food production environment while performing assigned duties.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$19.72 per hour

• Day shift: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM, Monday through Friday
