Security Officer
About the role
We are looking for a professional and responsible Security Officer for 2nd shift 230 pm - 1100 pm, to patrol and monitor the property and act as a deterrent to crime, and oversee resident safety.
Responsibilities
- Respond to all residents’ emergency calls
- Observe and report any unusual activities that take place throughout the property
- Enforce the policies and rules set forth by Christian Care and protect the rights of all residents within the framework of Federal, State, and Local laws
- Monitor alarms and closed-circuit television cameras
- Perform data entry
- Answer phones and direct calls accordingly
- Contact emergency services as needed
Requirements
- Great observation, good judgment, common sense, and excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Some experience or training in computer operation
- Valid AZ driver's license required
- Fingerprint Clearance card required
- Guard Card required
Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED required
- Minimum of two years’ experience as a Security Guard preferred
Skills
