Security Officer - Campus Patrol

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic educational location in Mesquite, NV. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, campus disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with campus stakeholders and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$16.00 / hour
