As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols to help deter incidents. This driving post offers the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service while supporting a welcoming, secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity or policy violations.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and communicate access-control concerns, incidents, and unusual conditions to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Preferred skills

• Customer service experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control/badge experience.

Pay & schedule

Part Time position at $14.27 / Hour. Schedule: Daytime shifts Wednesday 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Sunday 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM.
