What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a utilities location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, maintain visitor and vehicle access records, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with alarms, access-related issues, and/or requests for support from personnel on site.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require security-related attention.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
