What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following site-specific access control procedures, badge and credential verification steps, and appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, screen visitors, issue temporary credentials when authorized, and maintain accurate access logs and other security-related documentation.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, employees, and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with attention to doors, gates, restricted areas, and other access control points.
  • Help to deter unauthorized entry and policy violations by observing activity, reporting unusual conditions, and supporting security-related protocols within a technology-focused location.

Minimum Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
