Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, following visitor and contractor entry procedures, and maintaining accurate access records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and Allied Universal leadership while documenting daily activities, incidents, and observations.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
