Security Officer Armed Patrol

About the role

As an Armed Patrol Security Officer in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. This role supports patients, visitors, and staff through clear communication and exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal’s values of teamwork, integrity, reliability, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical facility disturbances, and critical situations calmly, coordinating with hospital personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and vehicle access in accordance with site-specific procedures while maintaining a professional presence.
• Complete required reports and documentation for incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Handcuffs, Pepper Spray, or Baton experience.

Pay

$20.00 per hour
