Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with strong customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders and company policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities thoroughly, and assist with emergency calls, de-escalation efforts, and coordination with site leadership and/or first responders as needed.

Requirements

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Have access control and badge experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $15.90 / Hour

Schedule: Daytime, Saturday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Sunday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
