Security Officer Armed Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence consistent with post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including building interiors, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas, while observing and reporting unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry when required, and help to deter unauthorized access, disorderly conduct, and/or other security-related issues.
• Document incidents, patrol activity, and/or notable observations, and communicate with site contacts, visitors, staff, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Possess a valid armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Qualifications

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
