Security Officer Armed Patrol

About the Role

As a Security Officer GED Qualified Armed Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas while maintaining an assigned armed post, verifying credentials and/or permissions in line with location procedures.
• Support security-related operations involving cash handling areas, restricted spaces, and high-traffic public areas by maintaining awareness, communicating clearly, and following post orders.

Requirements

• A Certified Protection Officer designation is required.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• An armed guard card/license is preferred.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour
Schedule: Day Time, Tuesday through Friday, 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
