Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Field Patrol in Alabaster, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
- Serve in an armed capacity in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site requirements, maintaining professional presence and following post orders during routine duties and/or emergency situations.
- Monitor access points and sensitive areas, helping to control entry and movement in accordance with location protocols while supporting a respectful environment for patients and/or healthcare personnel.
Minimum Requirements
- A concealed carry weapons permit is required.
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
