About the role

As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Lewisport, KY, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas of the manufacturing location.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, unusual activity, and facility concerns.
  • Document daily activities, access control events, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • Possess an EMT certification.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
