Security Officer Access Control

About the role

As a Security Officer Access Control in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution center, you will help manage entry points, verify access, monitor activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in the job state and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position details

• Position Type: Full Time
• Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour
• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday — 10:00 PM to 06:30 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a retail distribution location, verify credentials and authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records.
• Control access for employees, vendors, delivery drivers, and/or other authorized personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
