About the role
As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, support visitor management, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture. Through teamwork and integrity, you will help create a welcoming, controlled environment for employees and visitors.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and employees at a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, common areas, parking facilities, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Communicate professionally with building management, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, access issues, and shifts in site conditions.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
CPR certification is preferred.

- Thursday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Friday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
