As a Security Officer Access Control in Indianola, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor access control points by verifying credentials, managing visitor and contractor entry, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
  • Observe inbound and outbound vehicle activity, assist with gate procedures, and report irregularities involving deliveries, trailers, or restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Able to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
