Join Allied Universal at a dynamic retail location where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and conduct routine patrols. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, support a welcoming experience through strong customer service and communication, and bring our agile, reliable, and innovative approach to every interaction, always putting people first and acting with integrity through teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and help to deter unauthorized access at the location.
- Respond to incidents, policy violations, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to post procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the sales floor, common areas, receiving areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
- Document daily activity, visitor access, and/or security-related concerns, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay & schedule
Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour
Schedule: Daytime shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:30 PM - 12:00 AM
