As a Security Officer Access Control in Springdale, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document visitor and/or vehicle activity in accordance with location protocols.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns through appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting maintenance and/or security-related issues.
- Support a professional environment at an aerospace and defense location by helping to deter unauthorized access and following post orders for restricted areas and sensitive operations.
Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Preferred skills
- Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
