Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access activity with professional communication and customer service. In this unarmed role, you will contribute to a caring culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while helping create a welcoming environment for everyone on site.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
- Respond to incidents, operational concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting them through proper channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, shipping, receiving, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or site policy concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and delivery activity according to site protocols, and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted or controlled areas.
- Support facility operations by communicating with site contacts, observing sanitation-sensitive areas for policy-related concerns, and reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious activity.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Preferred Qualifications
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
