As a Security Officer Access Control in Beaumont, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will support access control operations, monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, process visitors and deliveries, and report unusual activity through established security-related channels.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
- Prepare clear reports of daily activities, access events, and incident details, and support Allied Universal and site management with requested documentation and follow-up.
Requirements
- 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
- A TSA issued TWIC is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Pay
$16.00 / Hour
Schedule
Daytime, Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
