Security Officer Access Control
About the role
Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location where you will help support access control operations, monitor entry points, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help discourage security-related incidents.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, manage visitor and delivery access, and maintain required logs and records related to security-related activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions.
- Support vehicle and gate access operations by checking authorized access, directing traffic flow, and documenting security-related concerns involving personnel, equipment, and/or shipments.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
Must be able to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively to emergencies.
- Good physical fitness and stamina for patrol duties.
- Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.

DayTime: Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
