Security Officer Access Control

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, residents, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, monitoring entry points, and supporting security-related protocols at the location.
• Monitor and control access to the property by verifying credentials, processing visitors, maintaining entry logs, and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted or private areas.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions, activities, and/or unusual events according to Allied Universal and site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around lobbies, entrances, parking areas, amenities, and the perimeter, noting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and other security-related issues that may require follow-up.
• Assist with emergency response activities by directing foot traffic, communicating with site contacts and/or first responders, and helping occupants follow property procedures during urgent situations.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
