What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to offices, production areas, shipping and receiving zones, and other restricted spaces.
• Maintain visitor, contractor, and/or delivery logs, issue badges or temporary credentials as directed, and communicate access-related information to site contacts in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity according to post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including parking areas, warehouses, and production-adjacent spaces, while observing for access control concerns and other security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
