Security Officer Access Control

About the role

As a Security Officer Access Control in Alcoa, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and/or employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor check-in processes, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with location requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including gates, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Support security-related operations at a food and beverage location by helping to deter unauthorized access, reporting maintenance or access issues, and completing required logs and incident reports.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
