Security Officer Access Control

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or delivery documentation, and help to control authorized access for personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering or leaving the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns, unusual activity, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
- Carry out regular and random patrols around the building, yard, dock areas, and perimeter, noting changing conditions and helping to support security-related operations throughout the location.
- Maintain required logs and records related to visitor access, driver check-in, trailer activity, and/or package handling areas, while communicating clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal management.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include:
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
