What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
  • Monitor front desk activity, manage visitor check-in and access documentation, and communicate with residents and building staff regarding approved entry and security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, resident inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to building management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Observe lobby and entry areas for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining a visible front desk presence and following post orders.
  • Support daily operations by answering phones, receiving deliveries, maintaining required logs and reports, and sharing relevant security-related information with Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
